Ideas for Updating a Traditional Recipe

Updates to the traditional waffle with maple syrup and sugar.

Start with the ingredients to make the waffle. Choose oat flour or Whole Wheat flour instead of over-processed white flower. 

  1.  Add fruit – naturally sweet
  2.  Serve with some protein. Maybe an egg or some turkey bacon.
  3.  Greek yogurt with honey and blueberries.
  4. Almond butter, sliced apples and honey.
  5. Vanilla yogurt, granola and raspberries.
  6. Fried egg, avocado and pico de gallo.
  7. Sliced kiwi, pineapple segments and toasted coconut.
  8. Applesauce, cinnamon and chopped walnuts.
